An Open AI platform

Bixby is powered by an open AI platform that enables developers to leverage their existing APIs and services to build rich conversational experiences

Developing for Bixby is a collaborative process with the AI. Developers teach Bixby the concepts and actions their services can perform. When a user makes a request, within milliseconds Bixby uses the models to dynamically construct a new program to process it. As a developer, you give Bixby the building blocks and in turn, Bixby uses your models to learn about users and the world.

Introducing Bixby Capsules

Developers teach Bixby by building Bixby Capsules. Each Capsule contains everything Bixby needs to know, from defining use cases and models to dialog and layouts. You connect your Capsule to your existing APIs and add natural language training to create conversational experiences. Everything you need to build a Capsule is provided in the Bixby Developer Studio and developer documentation.

All of the Bixby tools and workflows you need are in one place making it easier to build, test, and publish to the Bixby Marketplace. The best part: you can integrate your existing service without needing to be an expert in AI.
